LaDale Hymer’s Italian Barbecue Slow Cooked Ribs

Coat ribs with 1/2 cup olive oil and apply Daddy Hinkle’s Onion & Garlic rub. Refrigerate overnight. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Brown ribs for 15 minutes on one side, then brown other side for 15 minutes. Saute the onion and garlic in olive oil, then add the remaining ingredients. Place ribs in slow cooker, pour brine over ribs, then add bbq sauce. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours or until tender. Remove ribs, place in oven at 350 degrees. Add more sauce to cover meat and cook for 15 minutes.
