Glazed Chicken Breast

chicken_plate_1_I did some Chicken Breast last weekend.
My original idea was to marinade 4 boneless skinless chicken breast with some DH´s Onion & Garlic All Natural and pan fried them on top of my stove. But after I got them fried to a golden brown and out of the pan I decided to deglaze the pan with some bourbon that I´d had for a long time more to clean the pan than any thing else.

How My Grandmother Marinated Meat

My grandmother knew how to cook! She also knew how to marinate meat. So I grew up heating up the grill and watching her mix up the special spices Daddy Hinkle used on Steaks and chicken. The mixture of spices wasn´t called Daddy Hinkle´s Instant Marinade when I was growing up. It was just a combination of spices that I saw used on steaks all my life. Hamburgers (part 2)

Why do we love hamburgers so much? I don’t know but I sure do! I really like my next recipe because it’s how we made’em in a cafe/bar called the Twin Pines Club that my brother, Michael, and I owned a hundred years ago. We called them Gourmet Health Burgers on the menu. Take a look.

First Brisket!

Brisket

David finally cooked a Brisket! Using an electric smoker, he sprinkled Daddy Hinkle’s Original Marinade and rubbed it with Daddy Hinkle’s Original Dry Seasoning and cooked it at 180 degrees for 12 hours. Voted Best Brisket ever eaten by everyone on the staff at Daddy Hinkle’s!

What a surprise! Never having cooked a brisket before for not wanting to wait 12 hours or more to taste the result, David finally decided to cook one! The Brisket turned out to be well worth the wait and was all done while he was sleeping! He also made a BBQ Sauce to go with it! Go to “Continue to story” to read more.
